Later in the day, Moretz climbed into the back of a military truck filled with masked individuals, highlighting the precautions still in place during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Later on, Moretz climbed into the rear of a military truck, likely part of a scene in the movie where her character and her on-screen husband flee their country during a surprise war with artificial intelligence. In the afternoon, the petite actress posted a picture on her Instagram Story showing the back of the military truck. The photo seemed to be taken during a break in filming, as she was wearing a protective mask and had taken off her on-screen jacket. Along the bottom of the picture, she wrote, ‘Last day on the set of #MotherAndroid,’ as she stood on an old cobblestone, brick street in Boston.

Filming for the movie, which marks the first time directorial efforts of Mattson Tomlin, the writer behind Project Power, kicked off in September 2020.
