Bali, a beautiful island with a stray dog problem, often sees street dogs wandering around towns and villages. While the government tries to control the issue to prevent rabies outbreaks, shelters and citizens step in to give these poor pups a better life. The Hindu faith, which is prevalent in Bali, has an important figure named Yudhishthira, who approached heaven with his dog. Many Hindus believe that caring for or adopting dogs can lead to heaven. Rico Soegiarto, a kind soul, found a husky on the street that had sore-ridden skin, was extremely malnourished and had bald spots. Despite her condition, Rico knew he had to give her a second chance at life. After nursing her back to health with grooming, pet visits, and good food, the husky was transformed into a strong, healthy dog with a thick, lustrous coat and bright blue eyes. Rico named her Hope, and she loves being petted and eating cookies. She is now safe with Rico, who has four other dogs and is a dedicated animal lover. One night while returning from work, Rico Soegiarto, a 26-year-old man, stumbled upon a puppy with patches of bare skin.
Her emaciated figure revealed her skeletal frame through her unhealthy and fragile epidermis.
Her time on this earth was limited.
Notwithstanding her ailment, her magnificent sapphire eyes continued to sparkle and radiate.
Rico was aware that the abandoned puppy deserved another opportunity to be cared for.
Rico shared with Bored Panda that he couldn’t pinpoint what made her extraordinary.
“It’s all about emotions and instinct. During my commute back home from work, I stumbled upon her stranded in the middle of the road.”
After providing the husky with the necessary care like grooming, frequent pet visits, and nutritious meals to help it recover from its illness.
Rico excitedly revealed the amazing progress his most cherished new companion has made.
Currently, she is thriving and in excellent condition, sporting a glossy, dense fur and retaining her striking blue gaze.
It’s evident that Rico holds a special place in her heart. She absolutely adores him and enjoys being pampered with lots of cookies and affectionate pets.
Hope has found a blissful home with Rico, his significant other and a crew of four other adorable puppies.
